I DO
Maggie emailed me tonight from San Francisco:
...Friday I walked around city hall with Jocelyn and Zak. It was amazing. I had tears in my eyes. So many people that they had to deputize many extra employees and in every little nook and cranny of City Hall there was a couple and a judge. You just ended up two feet away from couples saying I DO. And people didn't have time to get ready because they thought the injunction was going to come through that day so in a rush most of them are in jeans and t-shirts. Lots of tears. Very sweet. I went yesterday too. People lined up outside in the rain all day and night to get in today. Today's President's day. Gave them an extra day before anyone could sue. Pretty incredible. I felt like I was watching the busses get desegregated...

I love that website and have been following it for the past 24 hours or so. It has moved one hardened spinster to tears! What has the world come to???
