I don't know about you but I am feeling pretty crappy right now, having lost much sleep and faith in humanity. Did all those people really line up, for hours, in inclement weather, to vote for...that?
Grasping for something, anything, to bring me a bit of joy this morning, I remembered Allumette, and almost smiled.
Allumette, the little match cat, is six weeks old and has just been adopted by two loving papas. She was born in a beautiful field in the southwest of France and now lives in Paris near the Boulevard de Belleville, at the crossroads of four arrondissements.
Here is a picture of Allumette just two days ago. I hope she sparks a little flame to light your way on this dark day.

I think we need more pictures of Alumette in these dark times.
