Gardens are beautiful metaphors for life. Yes you come to rational choices and think that it is allways better to protect your own than to leave it exposed.
My big question would be about the fear of people stepping into it, why so? where is your corner home? What kind of neighbors you have?
Tell you some other day about my own personal victory with garbage and our corner in a barely gentrified Mexican neigbhborhood....
